WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary head women's golf coach
Ed Teer announced the Tribe's 2023 spring schedule, highlighted by the Kingsmill Intercollegiate in March.
The Tribe kicks off the 2023 spring campaign by hosting the Kingsmill Intercollegiate on March 27-28. It is the 33rd year that W&M has hosted a spring tournament, and the event will be played on the famed River Course that hosted the LPGA's Pure Silk Championship from 2004-22. The Tribe has finished fifth or better at the event every year since 2014, including a runner-up finish last season.
The Green and Gold travels to The Women's Intercollegiate at Prospect Bay for the second-straight season. The event is scheduled for April 1-2 at Prospect Bay Golf Course in Grasonville, Md. Last season, W&M placed fourth in the 15-team field.
The 2023 CAA Championship will once again be held at The Clubs at St. James in Southport, N.C. The CAA Championship is set for April 14-16.
Sarah Houle enjoyed one of the best championship performances in school history last season, earning a top-5 finish individually. Her 7-over 223 three-day total was the second best in program history as she became the 10th Tribe student-athlete to place in the top 5 at the CAA Championship.
