Dear Friends of William & Mary Athletics,

I am pleased to bring you excellent news today about our fundraising efforts for FY22. Thanks to your generosity, we exceeded our overall goal by raising a total of $5.3 million and achieved significant momentum in our All In campaign.  

More than 6,000 donors gave us a vote of confidence with their gifts and pledges, and the totals reflect an incredible result for a school of our size. Every one of our 500 student-athletes, plus every coach and staff member, is grateful for your support.



As you can see from the chart below, Athletics had several "wins" this year in our fundraising, specifically $10.9 million in new commitments and gifts. You can also see that some of our sports did not reach their FY22 goals; we have some reserve funds due to our donor's generosity that will make up the difference this year, and we must redouble our efforts in order to hit those goals moving forward.
 
 
As we look to the future, I am confident we are on the cusp of even greater things for W&M Athletics and I couldn't be more grateful that we are on this journey together. For those of you who may have missed it, our Director of Athletics, Brian Mann, shares our optimism for the future and he recaps his first year.
