WILLIAMSBURG, VA. - William & Mary volleyball will begin the 2022 season Friday afternoon in Tampa taking on South Florida at 12:30 before a 4:30 match against South Alabama. The Tribe will conclude the weekend with an 11:00 a.m. start with Ball State Saturday morning.
The weekend will be a homecoming for senior captain
Kaitlyn Ferguson who dominated in her four seasons at nearby Tampa Prep. Miami (FL) transfer
Taylor Burrell will also be returning to her home state as the graduate student is a native of Boca Raton.
Coach Doyle's team, composed of nine newcomers and nine returning players, will face a difficult test in week one taking on a pair of teams in South Alabama and Ball State that advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season. Of the nine fresh faces, six are freshmen and three are transfer students.
