WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Registration for the 2022 Induction Ceremony of the William & Mary Athletics Hall of Fame is now available. Space is limited so be sure to
purchase a ticket or a table to the event.
The event will honor the W&M Hall of Fame Class elected for 2020. The class is comprised of ten former student-athletes (see complete list below), with the following six with Inductees confirmed to attend:
Derek Cox '08 (football),
Scott Estes '93 (tennis),
Ian Fitzgerald '09 (track, cross country),
Peel Hawthorne '80 (field hockey, lacrosse),
Mindy Wolff '75 (swimming) and
Sebronzik Wright '95 (men's gymnastics).
The W&M Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Friday, Sept. 9, in the Sadler Center on campus. It will start with a reception at 6:30 p.m. in the Tidewater Room and will be immediately followed by the dinner and formal induction ceremony in the Chesapeake Room starting at 7:15 p.m.
The remaining members of the Class of 2022 (Allison Evans Kwolek '03 (lacrosse), Lou Holtz (football coach), Sean McDermott '98 (football) and Claire Zimmeck '09 (soccer)) have deferred their inductions to a later date.
