WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Women's golf senior Sarah Houle was named the William & Mary Student-Athlete of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery on Wednesday.
 
Houle earned the honor after finishing fourth at the 2022 CAA Championship and earned a spot on the All-Tournament team. She fired a 7-over par 223, which was the second-best score from a Tribe player at the CAA Championship in program history. Houle, who shot a final round 1-over 73 to move up three spot, led the tournament with 40 pars over her 54 holes and ranked third in par 4 scoring at +3.
 
Houle's stroke average of 74.67 this season ranked second on W&M's single-season list. She earned five top 10 performances, including three top 5s. For her career, Houle is the program record holder for stroke average at 75.89.
 
In the classroom, Houle is a three-time W&M Provost Award winner and CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor selection She will earn her undergraduate degree in accounting from W&M in May and will enjoy in graduate school next year at the prestigious Raymond A. Mason School of Business.
