WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Women's Tennis senior Mila Saric was named the William & Mary Student-Athlete of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery on Wednesday.

Saric, who was named the CAA Player of the Week for the third time this season and ninth time in her career on Tuesday, went 2-0 at the top singles positions in leading W&M to two CAA wins last week. She rallied for a three-set win over Delaware's Eliza Askarova to clinch the Tribe's 4-3 triumph over the Blue Hens. After dropping the first set, 6-2, Saric outlasted Askarova, 7-6 (0), 6-4, in the final two sets.

In the Tribe's 7-0 sweep over Towson, Saric dropped just three games in a 6-0, 6-3 win over Amelia Lawson. Saric, who is ranked No. 109 nationally, pushed her win streak to four as she notched her 22nd win overall and improved to 12-3 at No. 1.

In the classroom, Saric is a three-time W&M Provost Award winner, CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor selection and ITA Scholar-Athlete pick. She is a double major in finance and psychology and will earn her degree in May.
