WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary head coach
Dane Fischer announced the signing of 6-5 guard Chase Lowe (Charlotte, N.C. / Weddington) to a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday.
Lowe joins
fall signees 6-7 guard/forward Jack Karasinski (Grand Rapids, Mich. / Catholic Central) and 6-10 forward Charlie Williams (Carmel, Ind. / Carmel) as part of the Tribe's incoming freshman class for the 2022-23 season.
"We are very excited to add Chase to the William & Mary Men's Basketball family," Fischer said. "He is a tremendous student and has been the best player on two straight undefeated state championship teams."
Lowe was named the North Carolina Player of the Year by the N.C. Basketball Coaches Association in 2022 after leading his team to a second-straight state title and 49-straight wins to end his high school career.
"Chase is a very versatile player that impacts the game in a number of ways. He can attack the paint and finish at the rim, create for others, rebound and defend at a high level. Chase will make an immediate impact in our program because of his leadership and willingness to do whatever it takes to help our team succeed. Chase is an outstanding addition and compliment to Jack and Charlie, and we are very excited to get them to campus this summer."
