WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Men's Tennis graduate student
Harrison Brown was named the William & Mary Student-Athlete of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery on Wednesday.
Brown led the Tribe to wins over Navy and Temple with an unblemished 2-0 in both singles and doubles.
Brown, who ran his singles win streak to five, clinched W&M's victory over Navy with a 6-4, 6-1 triumph over Derrick Thompson at the top position. He also posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Leo Raquin at No. 2 in the Tribe's victory over Temple. He also added two wins at the top doubles position along with
George Davis over the weekend as well.
On the year, Brown owns an impressive overall record of 15-4 to go along with a dual-match mark of 8-3 playing at No. 1 and No. 2.
In the classroom, Brown was a CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll selection during the fall. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and is pursuing his MBA in W&M's prestigious Raymond A. Mason School of Business.
