Men's Soccer Travels to NC State on Tuesday

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — For the second-straight week, William & Mary men's soccer will take on an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent in the mid-week. After upsetting No. 10 Wake Forest, 2-1, at home last week, the Tribe travels to N.C. State on Tuesday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and the match will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.

The Tribe (4-3-6) had its nine-match unbeaten streak snapped on Saturday, falling to UNCW, 2-0. Earlier in the week, the Green and Gold upset No. 10 Wake Forest on freshman Lucas Caldas's game-winner in the 75th minute. Caldas was named the CAA co-Rookie of the Week on Monday. Senior Nathan Messer gave the Tribe a 1-0 lead against the Demon Deacons with a blast from 25 yards out in the 19th minute. The win over Wake Forest marked the Tribe's eighth win over an ACC opponent in the last 13 years.
