WILLIAMSBURG, Va. –  For the second-straight week, Volleyball graduate student Julia Brown was named the William & Mary Student-Athlete of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery on Tuesday.

Brown was voted as this week's award winner by the Tribe fanbase via social media polls on both the @TribeAthletics Twitter and Instagram accounts. Women's soccer's Elaina Longjohn, field hockey's Kimi Jones and football's Nate Lynn were also honored as finalists for the weekly honor.

In two matches in Charlottesville against Winthrop and Akron, Brown totaled 31 kills. She posted a career-high 21 kills to go along with eight blocks against the Zips. Brown hit a robust .606 in the five-set match. She also added 10 kills to start the weekend against Winthrop.

Last week, Brown was named both the CAA Player of the Week and W&M Student-Athlete of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery after leading the Tribe to a 2-0 start to the season. Brown is currently pursuing her MBA at W&M after receiving her undergraduate degree in Biology last May.
