W&M owns a 1-1 record and is coming off a 24-3 victory against Lafayette last weekend. The Tribe's defense was outstanding in the win, as it limited the Leopards to just 32 rushing yards on 26 carries. Additionally, W&M recorded a pair of pick-sixes while totaling 6.0 sacks and 11.0 TFL. Senior all-conference defensive lineman Will Kiely highlighted the effort with career highs in sacks (2.0) and TFL (4.0). Offensively, senior wide receiver Cole Blackman recorded three catches for 56 yards, highlighted by a 38-yard touchdown catch that earned a spot on Sport Center's Top 10.

Colgate enters Saturday's game with a 0-2 record after dropping its first two contests to Boston College (51-0) and Stony Brook (24-3). The Raiders are averaging just 214.5 yards of total offense per game while surrendering 476.0. Quarterback Grant Breneman has completed 21 of 40 passes for 219 yards with four interceptions and no touchdowns, and is the team's leading rusher with 23.5 yards per game on the ground. Defensively, linebacker Tyler Flick leads the team with 19 tackles, while linebacker Milton Braasch II has totaled 16 stops with 2.0 TFL.

W&M controls the all-time series, 7-4, and has won the four of the last five meetings. Colgate won the first two matchups (1973, 1975), but the Tribe has won seven of the last nine contests. Saturday's game will mark the third meeting between W&M and Colgate in the last four seasons, while W&M owns a 2-1 all-time record in Hamilton.
