Box Score WILLIAMSBURG, VA.- William & Mary volleyball dropped the regular season finale 3-0 to James Madison Sunday afternoon in Harrisonburg. The Tribe will finish the regular season with a 3-5 record.
The Green and Gold could not find an offensive rhythm hitting just .124 in the match and .057 in the first frame. In the second set, the offense did click for 10 kills on a .240 percentage but it would not be enough to overcome a strong offensive attack from JMU.
Kate Dedrick and
Julia Brown led the Tribe with eight kills a piece in the match. Brown had eight kills on just 12 attempts and finished with a .500 hitting percentage.
Kate Van Houten dished out 24 assists and tossed in a pair of kills and four assists in the outing.
Anna Porter had a team-high 15 digs and freshman
Sabrina Malcolm had a team-high three blocks in the game.
The loss was the final match in the Tribe uniform for
Kate Dedrick. The graduate student finishes her career with over 800 kills and will go down as one of the best opposite side hitters in Tribe history. The remainder of the Tribe roster will return for the Fall 2021 Season.
