WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary men's soccer opens Colonial Athletic Association play when it welcomes Charleston to the Dillard Complex on Sunday afternoon. The match is slated for a 1 p.m. start time.

5 Things to Know
- W&M will play four CAA matches during the 2021 spring season. This season, the league is divided into North and South Divisions with top two teams from each advancing to the CAA Tournament. The Tribe will travel to UNCW (March 27) and Elon (April 10), while also hosting James Madison (April 2).
- The Tribe opens CAA play at home for the second-straight season after four road openers in a row. Each of W&M's last four CAA openers have gone to overtime and the last three have ended a tie. W&M is 11-2-2 all-time against Charleston, including a 2-0 win on the road last season. The Tribe is 4-1-1 against the Cougars since they joined the CAA in 2013.
- Youth is served on the Tribe's roster for the 2021 spring season. Of the 26 players on the roster, 21 are freshmen or sophomores, and there are zeros seniors. In the Tribe's first two matches, W&M has started nine freshmen and sophomores among its first XI. Last season, the Tribe started five freshmen in its final 15 matches.

Will Stack was named the Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week on Monday after recording four saves in the Tribe's double overtime win at George Mason. Stack started each of the Tribe's first two games and sports a 0.90 goals against average with six saves.
- Sophomore
Alfredo Bozalongo, who was named to the All-CAA Second Team as a freshman, scored the game-winner at George Mason in the final minute of the second overtime period on March 6. He collected a failed clearance attempt and curled it inside the post from 25 yards out. It was his third career goal, but his first from the run of play as his first two goals in 2019 came via free kicks. It marked his second career game-winner, both of which have come in extra time.
