- The Tribe ran its win streak to three matches with a pair of road wins last week at ACC foe NC State, 1-0, on Tuesday and at Delaware, 3-2, on Sunday. With the victories, W&M evened both its overall record at 6-6 and its CAA mark at 3-3. A victory on Saturday would give the Tribe's its first three-match road winning streak since 2011.
- With wins in three of its last four league matches, W&M heads to UNCW in the thick of the race for one of the four league tournament playoff spots. While the Tribe sits in seventh with nine points, the top seven positions in the league standings are separated by just four points as Hofstra leads the league at 13 points and a 4-1-1 record. UNCW is tied for second with 12 points.

Alexander Levengood scored a brace in the Tribe's 3-2 win at Delaware on Sunday to push his team-leading total to six. For his career, Levengood owns 16 goals in 36 matches and has been even better in CAA play to the tune of 11 goals in 18 CAA contests.
- Levengood ranks second in the CAA and 24th nationally in game-winning goals with three. He is also one just of 12 players nationally with a 100% conversion rate on PKs and three converted chances this season. The Richmond, Va., native also ranks fourth in the CAA in goals per game (0.50) and fifth in points per game (1.25). Those numbers rank 52nd and 59th nationally, respectively.
- The Tribe posted its first ACC road win since 2014, knocking off NC State, 1-0, on a
Nathan Messer goal in the 55th minute on Oct. 19. Junior
Diba Nwegbo tallied the assist after firing a shot off the left post that Messer jumped on and one-time over NC State goalkeeper Leon Krapf. It marked the Tribe's seventh win over the ACC in the last 11 years and the first on the road since downing both Pittsburgh and No. 1 North Carolina in 2014.
- UNCW enters the weekend at 9-5-1 overall and 4-2 in CAA play. The Seahawks are receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches National Rankings and come in at No. 2 in the Atlantic Region. Last week, UNCW split its matches, falling at VCU, 2-1, in OT before topping Charleston on the road, 1-0. Included in the Seahawks wins this season is a 2-1 home victory over ACC foe North Carolina. Nicolas Molina leads UNCW with six goals, while both he and Omar Aboutaleb (5g, 3a) have 13 points. Gabriel Perrotta has played every minute in goal for UNCW sporting a 1.32 GAA to go with 69 saves.
- W&M leads the all-time series with UNCW at 35-9-6, and the Green and Gold has outscored the Seahawks, 139-52, in the 50 all-time meetings. Last season, UNCW picked up a narrow 1-0 home win. Eight of UNCW's nine wins in the series have come since 2008.
- The Tribe's six losses this season have come to teams with a combined record of 57-24-10 (.681). Two of those setbacks have come to teams currently in the national rankings. Hofstra was No. 14 and Virginia Tech came in at No. 21 in the most recent United Soccer Coaches National Rankings. In total, four of the Tribe's six losses have come to teams that have been nationally ranked this season.

Alfredo Bozalongo has scored in each of the Tribe's last two CAA matches against Drexel and at Delaware. Bozalongo scored off a corner kick against the Dragons, before converting a free kick vs. UD. Of his five career goals, three have come on free kicks and four have been in CAA play.
- Nwegbo has registered a point in each of the Tribe's last three matches. He scored the game-winner in the Tribe's 2-0 win over Drexel on Oct. 16, before registering the game-winning assists at NC State (1-0) and Delaware (3-2). Nwegbo is second on the team with 12 points on four goals and four assists. He ranks eighth in the CAA in points per game (1.0).
- W&M has shut out its opponents in five of its six wins in 2021. The Tribe ranks second in the CAA and 34th nationally in shutout % (41.7).
