LYNCHBURG, Va. – William & Mary men's tennis advanced a pair of doubles teams to the ITA Atlantic Super Regional on Saturday. The tandem of graduate student Harrison Brown and junior George Davis as well as the duo of graduate student Chen Ruo and senior Joseph Brailovsky won two matches on Saturday to garner a spot in next week's super regional.
 
Davis and Brown, who were seeded No. 4 in the draw, topped the ODU team of Van Schalkwyk and Walser, 8-4, in the round of 16, before upending the Virginia Tech pairing of Shepard and Thompson, 8-5. The duo improved to 5-0 on the fall.
 
Brailovsky and Ruo upset the draw's No. 2 seed in Wilson and Marques Da Silva of Liberty, 8-4, to earn one of the four spots in the super regional. In the round of 16, the Tribe duo downed Silva and Taramonlis of Radford, 8-5. Brailovsky and Ruo are also 5-0 during the fall season.
 
In the final round of qualifying in the singles draw, senior Daniel Pellerito and graduate students Finbar Talcott and Sebastian Quiros suffered losses to end their runs at the ITA Atlantic Regional.
 
In the singles consolation draw, freshman Sean Joseph picked up his first win as a member of the Tribe. He won the opening set over Longwood's Ernesto Rocabert, 6-4, and led 4-0 in the second before the Lancer retired due to injury.
 
In doubles consolation action, Joseph and Quiros notched an 8-2 win over the Radford pair of Hagen and Balsekar.
 
The Tribe returns to action when it takes part in the ITA Atlantic Super Regional, Oct. 23-25, in Norfolk, Va.
