NEWARK, Del. – Five players scored in double-figures for the first time all season as the William & Mary women's basketball team bounced back with a total team effort to win 78-60 over Delaware at the Bob Carpenter Center on Sunday afternoon.

W&M (19-7, 10-5 CAA) closed the first half and opened the third quarter with an 11-0 run to build an insurmountable lead. The run continued as junior Bailey Eichner hit a pair from the line and classmate Gabby Rogers added a jumper to make it 42-28. W&M went on to outscore the Blue Hens 18-14 the remainder of the frame and took a 60-42 lead in the fourth quarter.

W&M used a 7-0 run late in the first quarter to take its first lead of the game. Rogers tied the score with a jumper and the sophomore Eva Hodgson and redshirt sophomore Sydney Wagner connected on back-to-back 3-pointers to make it 16-11 with 2:51 left in the opening frame.

Delaware (10-15, 6-8 CAA) raced out of the gates with the first five points to build its largest lead of the afternoon.
