Elisa Van Meeteren pulled the Tribe even with a win at No. 3. The W&M tandem notched a 6-4 win over Chie Kezuka and Margarita Timakova for its fourth victory in five dual-matches.

Mila Saric rallied for a nationally-ranked win at the top spot in a tiebreaker, clinching the doubles point. Okuyama and Saric upended the No. 51-ranked Cyclones team of Thasaporn Naklo and Christin Hsieh, 7-6 (6), to improve to 4-2 overall and even its dual-match mark at 2-2.
- Van Meeteren ran her dual-match ledger to 4-0 with a straight-sets win at No. 6 to increase the Tribe lead to 2-0. She dropped just three total games in a 6-2, 6-1 win over Margarita Timakova to even her season record at 9-9.
- Iowa State rallied to pull out the win by claiming the final five singles matches. Saric forced the No. 72-ranked player in the country to three sets before falling. After Iowa State's Thasaporn Naklo took the opening set, 6-4, the Tribe sophomore answered with a 6-4 win in the second to force a third. The nationally-ranked singles player clinched the Cyclones victory with a 6-2 win over Saric in the decisive third set.

Rosie Cheng jumped out to a set advantage over Maty Cacini with a 6-3 win in the first. The formally nationally-ranked Cyclone senior rallied to pick up 6-2, 6-4 wins in the final two sets to round out the ISU win.
