RICHMOND, Va. – The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) announced an expansion of its existing partnership with CBS Sports with an 11-game package of regular-season men's basketball games to air on CBS Sports Network in the 2019-20 season. The Tribe will make one appearance on CBS Sports Network as part of the package during its league-opening road trip to Elon on Monday, Dec. 30.
Additionally, the 2020 CAA Men's Basketball Championship semifinals and championship game will be on CBS Sports Network March 9-10 from the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.
All 10 CAA programs will be featured on the 11-game package, which begins with a non-conference matchup between Charleston and Oklahoma State on Wednesday, Nov. 13. On Monday, Dec. 30, the Tribe and Phoenix kick-off the CAA slated in Elon at 7 p.m. in a match-up of the league's two newest head coaches.
Scott Graham and Donny Marshall will serve as the primary broadcast team for the CAA. Graham, a veteran sports broadcaster, has worked with the Philadelphia Phillies, NFL Films and hosts The NFL on Westwood One. Additionally, Graham called play-by-play of the 2016 and 2018 NCAA Final Four as part of the "Team Stream" broadcasts.
A former co-captain at UConn and five-year NBA veteran, Marshall is currently an NBA and college basketball analyst for Fox Sports 1. Additionally, Marshall calls NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament games on Westwood One's national radio broadcasts. Previously, he served as a Brooklyn Nets color commentator and studio analyst for YES Network.
