William & Mary's sixth One Tribe One Day once again set new records. Earlier this spring, an impressive 13,144 donors made a gift as part of the university's annual day of giving. William & Mary Athletics proudly repeated as the winner of the Gerdelman School & Unit Competition for the area within the university that had the most total donors during the 24-hour giving window.
Winning the Gerdelman School & Unit Competition provided an additional $15,000 to William & Mary Athletics Impact Fund.
Overall, William & Mary Athletics received contributions from a record 2,661 donors and raised more than $323,383 during the daylong event.
In all, 10 of the Tribe's programs raised more than $10,000 during the event, with the football program leading the way in both total donations and donors, with $37,469 and 415, respectively.
Additionally, the Tribe Club achieved 100 percent participation among the student-athletes who were enrolled during the spring semester, as more than 440 made a gift as part of the annual Ten for the Tribe initiative. It is the sixth consecutive year William & Mary Athletics has achieved 100 percent participation.
Because of the steadfast generosity of alumni, parents, fans, and friends, William & Mary Athletics is able to provide the resources for student-athletes to pursue championships and develop as individuals who are prepared to live lives of impact.
