GREENSBORO, N.C. – The William & Mary women's golf team recorded the best final round score in the tournament field as it shot a 298 (+10) to move up to third place in the Starmount Fall Classic on Tuesday. The Tribe rounded out its tournament score with a 913 (+49). UAB won the tournament shooting a 905 (+41).
 
Senior Allison Olberding led the Tribe in the event as she finished out her 54-hole score at 224 (+8) and placed seventh. The senior carded a 75 (+3) in the final round today.
 
Freshman Cindy Zhou had the best round of her tournament as she shot 73 (+1) in the third round. She finished two strokes behind Olberding with a 226 (+10) and in eighth place. Sophomore Sarah Houle returned the Tribe lineup for the final round and fired a 74 (+2).

Notes
Senior Allison Olberding's 224 (+8) tied her for her season-best mark … She led the event with nine birdies.

After a week off, the William & Mary women's golf team heads to the Hound Ears Intercollegiate in Boone, N.C. The Tribe will look to defend its tournament title at the event on Monday, Oct. 14 and Tuesday, Oct. 15.
