"Overall, we are happy with our performance. For our first outing, we were pretty sharp in our areas of focus. Now, we will recover, study the video and further refine things for Friday night." – Head men's soccer coach
Chris Norris

Notes
The Tribe is unbeaten in last seven exhibition matches (3-0-4) and 11-1-8 in exhibition action dating back to 2006 … The meeting was the third exhibition tilt between the teams in the last four years … The previous two ended in draws (2-2 at Mason in 2015 and 1-1 at W&M in 2016) … Senior
Sam Onyeador (first half) and freshman
Connor Andrews (second half) each played 45 minutes on the day … If the stats counted, Bell would have tallied his fourth career two-goal game … He ranks 13th among active NCAA Division I players in goals with 23 … The goal and assist would have been the first in the careers of Bellucci and Hogge.
