HARRISONBURG, Va. – Maryland's Jarena Harmon scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner in the 88th minute, to lift the Terps over the William & Mary women's soccer team, 2-1, in the season opener for both teams on Thursday evening. Sophomore

Maryland took an early lead on its first shot of the contest in the fifth minute. Hope Lewandski sent a ball over the top into the box into a scrum of players. Jarena Harmon was able to get to the pass, and volley it home from six yards out.
Just two minutes later the Tribe found the equalizer. W&M was mounting pressure with two corner kicks, before redshirt junior
Sarah Segan put a shot on frame that was saved by Erin Seppi. However, the rebound bounced to the foot of Miles, who cleaned up the mess. Her first career goal leveled the score at 1-1.
