Earlier this spring, William & Mary held its annual Celebration of Women's Athletics event at the School of Education. The CWA was generously sponsored by the Martin Family. Over 150 people were in attendance, including 50 Tribe Athletics alumnae who served as mentors to 85 current student athletes. Those in attendance heard remarks from William & Mary President Taylor Reveley III, Director of Athletics

The panel was moderated by Amy Wright '82, Vice President of Human Resources, Global Business Services for IBM. This year's panelists included Melissa Barlow Stratts '88, Executive Vice President, Global Client & Market Development for JLT Re, Jordan Steele Marotta '03, Area Director for lululemon, and Kia Butts Hardy '05, Lead Academic Counselor, Tidewater Community College. The event concluded with a networking session for the student athletes and alumnae mentors.
