WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Four players scored in double-figures as the William & Mary women's basketball team cruised to a 63-53 victory against Colonial Athletic Association foe Hofstra on Sunday afternoon at Kaplan Arena. With the win, the Tribe improves to 14-6, 5-4 in CAA play, while the Pride drop to 10-11, 4-5 in league action.
Hofstra opened the game with a 6-0 to take the lead by the same score and build its largest lead of the game. Marianne Kalin opened the scoring with a transition lay-up, before Boogie Brozoski hit a jumper, and Mikiyah Croskey added a lay-up to end the run.
Trailing by three, W&M used a 10-0 run to take its first lead, which it didn't relinquish, midway through the second quarter. Junior

Boogie Brozoski led Hofstra in the game with 16 points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals. E'Lexus Davis was the only other Pride player in double-figures with 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
Inside the Numbers
- W&M shot just 41.1-percent (23-for-56) from the floor the game. However, it limited the Pride to just 37.3-percent (19-of-51) in the contest.
- For the third straight game, the Tribe won the rebounding battle, 39-33. W&M is 5-2 when winning the battle of the glass.
- The Tribe forced the Pride into 21 miscues, and scored 22 points off of the Hofstra turnovers.
- W&M only had 10 assists in the victory, which are the fewest assists in a win this season.
