WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Senior
Sydney Biniak recorded double-digit kills in her 12
th straight match to lead the William & Mary volleyball team during a 3-0 (25-22, 25-13, 25-14) defeat against unbeaten CAA rival Towson on Sunday afternoon in Kaplan Arena. Biniak tallied 10 kills as the Tribe (2-14, 0-3 CAA) wrapped up its three-match homestead with the Tigers (16-0, 2-0 CAA).
In the first set, the Tribe made a strong effort to dig out of an eight-point deficit at 18-10. The Green and Gold ignited a 5-0 run to trim the margin to 18-15. Biniak brought down the hammer and the Tigers committed an attack error to make it a one-point stanza, 23-22. However, a service error and kill from Towson's Marrisa Wonders stopped the rally.
Towson went on to generate a .484 attack percentage in the second set and then hit .333 in the third to finish out the contest. The Tigers combined for just six attack errors in the last two periods.

Kate Dedrick posted six kills in 13 attempts with just one error to post a .385 hitting efficiency.

Katie Turner notched a team-high in digs (10).
- As a team, the Tigers finished the conference clash hitting .380.
- Towson's Carola Biver led all players with 18 kills and Olamide Sonuga totaled six blocks.
