WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The William & Mary men's soccer team battled Loyola (Md.) to a 0-0 draw on a soggy Friday night at Martin Family Stadium at Albert Daly Field. The game was shortened to 90 minutes and overtime was not played due to extremely wet field conditions and severe weather in the area. With the result, the Tribe's record sits at 1-1-1, while the Greyhounds, who are just outside the national top 25 and ranked No. 1 in the Northeast Region, moved 2-0-1.
The Tribe controlled a majority of the match and outshot Loyola 17-8. W&M had a 9-1 advantage in shots in the first 45 minutes, which included an 9-0 run on shots after the Greyhounds put one on target in the third minute.

William Eskay turned a shot that was headed to the far post. Unfortunately, a Greyhound defender was able to clear the would be goal off the line. The other came in the 76th minute as junior
Ryder Bell lofted a shot, which looked to be headed over the head of the keeper, but Loyola's Chase Vosvick recovered to make the save.
Both goalkeepers were credited with shutouts in the match. Vosvick recorded seven saves for the Greyhounds, while senior goalkeeper
Phil Breno had three stops and earned his first shutout of the season.
