Bianca Boggs scored a career-high 33 points and the William & Mary women's basketball team overcame three nine point deficits to pick up a 92-86 road victory at St. Francis on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Tribe wins its fourth straight game, and improves to 7-1, while the Red Flash falls to 3-4.
Trailing 74-69, W&M used a 13-2 run to build a six point lead that it didn't relinquish. Sophomore
Victoria Reynolds sparked the rally with nine straight points. After a SFU basket, sophomore
Nari Garner hit a triple and Boggs split a pair of free throws to make the score 82-76 with 3:30 left. The Red Flash could only bring it back to a four-point game as the Tribe hit a perfect 6-of-6 from the line down the stretch to pick up the 92-86 victory
After the Tribe cut the first St. Francis nine-point advantage, the Red Flash used an 8-0 to restore the lead to nine midway through the second quarter. Jessica Kovatch scored all eight points for SFU restore a 40-31 advantage.
W&M scored 10 of the final 13 points of the half to cut the deficit to just two points at the break. Junior
Misha Jones opened the scoring, before Boggs completed a traditional 3-point play. The Red Flash responded with a triple, but Boggs scored the final five points of the half to make the score 43-41.

Jessica Kovatch led St. Francis scoring 31 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Leah Morrow had 22 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Ace Harrison scored 13 points and added six rebounds.

- The Tribe shot a season-high 52.8-percent (35-of-67) from the floor in the game.
- St. Francis won the battle of the boards 43-35, but the Tribe improved to 5-0 in games they lost the rebounding battle.
- W&M had 18 assists in the contests, led by five from freshman

W&M closes a stretch of six games in 10 days when it welcomes USC Upstate on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at Kaplan Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. The Tribe will be hosting a Toys for Tots drive at the game and any fan that brings an unused, packaged toy received a discounted $2 ticket. Also the Tribe women's team will be signing autographs postgame.
