Box Score The William & Mary volleyball team found itself in another barn-burner Saturday night, falling to Army 3-2 in the West Point gym. The Tribe is 2-4 after its third-straight five-setter, while Army improved to 3-2 on the year.

Highlights for W&M included senior Dessi Koleva (Torrance, Calif.), who became just the eighth player in school history with 1,000+ digs in their careers. She finished the night with 10 digs, and also had eight kills, a career-best three aces, and a solo block. Classmate Mallory Brickerd (Ashburn, Va.) had nine kills, two more aces, and three blocks, and freshman Heather Pippus (Lake Oswego, Ore.) matched her with nine kills, three blocks, and eight digs.
Also of note, sophomore Austyn Ames (Wichita, Kan.) made her first appearance of the year and responded with 18 assists, seven digs, and three aces. Classmate Sara Zumbach (Franklin, Tenn.) had a team-best 12 digs to go with two aces, and a third sophomore Paige Humphrey (Oak Hill, Va.) led the Tribe for the second match in a row with five blocks to go with four kills. Senior Carolyn Albright (Raleigh, N.C.) hit .308 with five kills and three blocks, and junior Gabrielle Pe (Virginia Beach, Va.) had eight assists, seven digs, and another ace.
