Box Score The William & Mary volleyball team dropped a hard-fought match at defending league champion Hofstra on Friday night, 3-0 in the conference opener.  The Tribe moves to 6-8 (0-1) on the year, while the Pride improved to 11-6 overall and 2-0 in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Sydney Biniak (Elkridge, Md.), who had eight kills and a block, as well as senior 
Dessi Koleva (Torrance, Calif.) who also had eight kills while adding 10 digs.  Senior 
Carolyn Albright (Raleigh, N.C.) had seven kills for her night while hitting .429, and also picked up a solo block along the way.
Redshirt-junior 
Michelle Heath (Rustburg, Va.) earned the start and responded with five kills, a block, and a service ace, and 
Mallory Brickerd (Ashburn, Va.) had a block and an ace of her own to go with three kills.  Sophomore 
Paige Humphrey (Oak Hill, Va.) did work defensively with a match-high four blocks, and classmate 
Sara Zumbach (Franklin, Tenn.) made 14 digs behend her.  Setter 
Gabrielle Pe (Virginia Beach, Va.) had 14 assists and six digs, and 
Katie Kemp (Brentwood, Tenn.) was close behind with 13 assists and five digs.
William & Mary's month-long road swing finishes on Sunday afternoon in Boston, taking on Northeastern at 1 p.m.
