Box Score The William & Mary volleyball team fell in the first match of the Eagle Invitational Friday night to tournament host American, 3-0. The Tribe is 5-6 on the year, while the Eagles improved to 7-4.

Katie Kemp (Brentwood, Tenn.) had 13 assists, five digs, and an ace, and junior
Gabrielle Pe (Virginia Beach, Va.) had six assists to go with an ace and nine digs. Sophomore
Sara Zumbach (Franklin, Tenn.) had a team-best 13 digs, and freshman
Heather Pippus (Lake Oswego, Ore.) added in five digs.
The tournament continues Saturday with a pair of matches. The Tribe will play Virginia at 1:30 p.m., before taking on UMBC at 4:30 p.m.
