The William and Mary volleyball team fell on the road at ACC power Clemson Friday night, 3-0.  The Tribe evens its record at 4-4 on the year, while the Tigers improved to 7-1 overall.
Box ScoreW&M took a little bit to get going, falling behind quickly in the first set, but in the second and third played right with Clemson, losing 25-20 and 25-21 in the final two frames.  Leading the stat sheet for the Tribe was junior captain 
Dessi Koleva (Torrance, Calif.), who had nine kills and seven digs on the night.  Freshman 
Paige Humphrey (Oak Hill, Va.) had four kills with no errors, and a match-high two blocks, both in the final set.  Junior 
Mallory Brickerd (Ashburn, Va.) matched four kills and four digs with a block

Austyn Ames (Wichita, Kan.) had a season-high three kills to go with 14 assists and four digs.  Sophomore 
Gabrielle Pe (Virginia Beach, Va.) had a match-high 13 digs to go with four assists, and raised her season-average another few ticks up to 4.11 digs per set.
William and Mary is back in action at the Clemson Classic tomorrow morning, beginning at 10 a.m. against Tennessee State.  The Tribe will also take on the Wofford Terriers at 4:30 p.m.
