Andrew Jones recently sat down with TribeAthletics.com to discuss his offseason preparation as well as life off the gridiron.
Below is a quick look at the Tribe's spring two-deep at the offensive line position.
Offensive line coach Bob Solderitch:
“We have a very promising young group of linemen coming into this fall. You take the good with the bad, as we have a tremendous amount of potential, but we are also inexperienced. We will look good getting off the bus, as we are an athletic unit with good size, but we'll also need to work really hard this spring and fall to build cohesiveness.”

Redshirted last season ... Was competing for a spot on the travel squad as a true freshman in 2013 before a knee injury ended his season ... Strength and athleticism give him tremendous potential ... Needs this spring to gain valuable reps. |
#71 Jared Templeton, Jr. (6-4, 295)
Earned three starts and appeared in all 12 games last season as a right tackle after converting from a defensive lineman ... Picked up alignments and assignments quickly and with continued development will challenge for playing time ... Good feet and technique ... Has outstanding physical tools for position. |

Lone senior on the offensive line ... Saw action in 10 games as a reserve last season ... Gives outstanding effort and is very knowledgeable in assignments ... Provides outstanding and reliable depth at both center and tackle. |

Will make the move from tackle to more natural guard position this spring ... Started nine games at right tackle last season ... Smart player with outstanding feet and athleticism ... Has the potential to be team's best overall lineman this fall. |

Appeared in eight games as a reserve last season ... Plays with great energy and aggression ... Tireless worker who could also challenge at center position ... Will compete to be key reserve on interior line. |
