WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Jan. 6, 2014)—William and Mary senior offensive lineman Matt Crisafi has been chosen to the Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Academic All-Star Team.
A four-year starter and team captain, Crisafi excelled both on and off the field throughout his standout career. As a senior, Crisafi garnered second-team All-America honors from The Sports Network and first-team all-conference distinction after anchoring W&M's offensive line that helped sophomore running back Abdul-Saboor post six 100-yard rushing games. A versatile lineman, Crisafi started a team-high 41 consecutive games at center, left guard and left tackle during the past four years.
Crisafi also distinguished himself in the classroom and garnered CAA Academic All-Conference Team honors during each of the past three seasons. Additionally, he is a four-time W&M Provost's Award honoree and is a member of Sigma Mu Sigma service fraternity and SAAC.
Crisafi earned a bachelor's degree in finance last May and is currently pursuing a MBA.
