William and Mary's Lissemore and Tracy Named to CSN Fabulous 50 Squad

CHICAGO, Ill. - The College of William and Mary senior defensive duo of tackle Sean Lissemore and end Adrian Tracy continued to collect post-season accolades, as the pair was named to The College Sporting News (CSN) Fabulous Fifty Team.

Tracy, who has now collected first team All-American honors from three different entities (Walter Camp Football Foundation, CSN and the American Football Coaches Association), was one of 10 unanimous selections to the CSN squad.

Lissemore, who ended his senior season as a First-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection, has now been named to a pair of All-American squad's, as he also earned first-team honors from the Sports Network.

The pair was part of one of the greatest defenses in the Tribe's long football history, as the squad ended the year having allowed just 61 yards rushing per game (1st nationally), 229 total yards per game (2nd nationally), and only 12 points per game (2nd nationally). Additionally, opponents converted just 28.1% of 3rd down opportunities on the season. The Tribe forced 27 turnovers (13th nationally), tallied 3.43 sacks per game (3rd nationally), and eight tackles for loss per game (8th nationally).

As a team, William and Mary tied a school record for wins (11) and also equaled its deepest run into the NCAA Playoffs, with an appearance in the national semi-finals. The 2009 squad also equaled its highest finishing in the national poll earning the No. 3 spot in the Coaches Poll (while it finished fourth in the final Sports Network poll).
