The Tribe trailed by just six with 12:16 remaining and by seven with 7:10 to go, but could not overcome 19 turnovers that resulted in 20 Cavalier points. Juniors Daniel Dixon and Omar Prewitt topped the Tribe with 15 and 14 points respectively. Both players connected on 6-of-12 from the field, while Dixon hit a trio of 3-pointers. Senior Terry Tarpey led W&M with six rebounds and three steals. Defensively, W&M held Virginia below its season percentages from the field (44.8) and 3-point range (18.2), both of which entered the game in the top 35 nationally.
 
The Tribe takes a two-week break for final exams at the College, before opening a five-game homestand. The Green and Gold hosts Mary Washington on Friday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m., and then wraps up its pre-Christmas slate with High Point on Monday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. Both games will be broadcast online on Tribe Athletics TV via Stretch Internet. Mark it on your calendars Tribe fans, Tuesdays with Tony is back for 2015-16. The first edition of the monthly luncheons with head coach Tony Shaver at Anna's Brick Oven restaurant, 2021-D Richmond Rd in Williamsburg, will be on Tuesday, Dec. 8, beginning at 11:30 a.m. The event will also take place on Jan. 9, Feb. 9 and Feb. 23.
